Newlyweds

Marc and I have been married for 3 months already and the time is just flying by. Before I got married I would have told you that I don't think much will change once we are married. We dated for 4 years and spent the majority of time together. I felt like I knew him better than myself. I can tell you how we will respond to things and what he would say in certain situations. Sometimes I think I know him better than he does. I was realistic and knew that we would face some challenges as newlyweds. Here is a funny story that happened a few weeks ago.


• The story starts after I kindly asked Marc that the next time he was working outside and had a few minutes if he could wash the windows. I had just cleaned them from the inside and they still looked dirty. It was Saturday, the only morning I try to sleep in, at 7:30AM and Marc decided it would be a great idea to powerwash our bedroom windows. I literally thought the US was getting bombed. I was so mad that I immediately stormed outside, crazy hair and all, to give him a piece of my mind. Before I can even get a word out he cheerfully said, "Good morning beautiful." It was right then that I realized that he had no idea what he had done. We had a talk later about the importance of my Saturday morning sleep.
