Thank you all for your encouraging words regarding my running. Thanks to everyone, I am motivated enough to stick with it. Last weekend I went and bought a new pair of pretty sweet Adias running shoes. This was one of the most helpful things I have done yet. My feel feel so much better and come to find out I needed a "stability" shoe. This keeps my foot from rolling inwards. I know this is boring to most, but so thrilling to me! (Ok, not thrilling, I am still trying to trick myself into believing that if I get new fancy shoes, then I will at least look the part.
So, I got my new kicks and a few new running shirts. I am all set and ready to rumble. On sunday night, Marc and I went out for what the training schedule called "fun run". Can anyone PLEASE explain to me what the heck is a fun run?!? If you are running it's not going to be fun. However, on Sunday night we started about 8:30, the temp was cool (ok, I live in Texas it was prob 90 degrees, but it felt good). It was so calm and quiet around the neighborhood, truly peaceful. I started to think that maybe... well, I wouldn't say fun, but decent. I turned off my music so I could just listen to the nothing-ness. We ran for 30 minutes, not sure how long though. I have never run this long in my life, maybe during my cheerleading days, but that was a lifetime ago. I think I might be starting to get better. Oh, I hope so...
If anyone has any tips to help me get better, please let me know.

I say all the clothes & accessories motivated me a little. I got the shoes, clothes & a stop watch. That actually helped me a lot because my training schedule would say something like run for 35 minutes. So I could time myself.
