Christmas & New Years!!!

This was the first year that I have even been away from my family at Christmas time.  I was very sad and a little nervous.  Thankfully, Marc and I had a great time at his mom's house.  We looked at Christmas lights, drank hot chocolate, made warm fires, and ate tons of cookies.  It was different but Marc worked very hard to make me feel comfortable and not too homesick.  Truly I married the most wonderful man in the world!  


Here is a picture of our first annual Christmas Sweater competition.  

It is a Thomas family tradition to open 1 present on Christmas Eve and it is always our matching Pj's.  I was pretty sad this year when I realized I wouldn't have the matching pi's.  Thankfully, my brilliant mom was already on top of that and shipped us our pi's. 

It was a great Christmas, well besides the kidney stone experience.  I am lucky to have family on both sides that love us very much.  Baby H got a stroller and a mamaroo, plus plenty of cute clothes and toys.  


New Years!! 


Tonight was a great night!  We went down to the neighborhood party for an hour and then went to dinner. Marc reserved "the vault" at this restaurant in downtown Round Rock.  We didn't get many pictures from this night, but here is one of my in "the vault".  I wish Marc was in there, because he looks fantastic!  It was a very fun evening and we watched the ball drop in bed at 11:00.  I couldn't make it until 12:00.  I hope everyone had a fun weekend filled with laughter and love!!!
