At the request of Hannah, my sweet cousin, I am going to do a nursery update. We don't have much so far, but it is a work in progress. The room that we will be using for the nursery was our "junk" room, so my time lately has been filled with finding a new home for lamps, blankets, extra pillows, all my crafts/scrapbooking stuff ect. It I onlk had a 5 bedroom house I know I could fit it all in. Haha!! WISHFUL THINKING!!!!
I love this blanket/quilt. When I saw this in Hawaii, I knew I had to have it. I have no idea if I will use it in the nursery, but I love all the bright colors.
This is our sweet baby's dresser that Marc is re-doing. He stripped it and sanded it down, but that's as far as he has gotten yet. I am waiting to pick a color to paint it until we find out if I have a precious baby boy or girl. (Note the guitars in the background... Marc will have a rude awakening when I finally tell him those aren't staying! Haha!)
Like I said, we don't have much, but it's a start. I did have another request to post the crib we picked out. We bought it today and I love love love it! We got it on babysdream.com and it is called the Cube. We also bought the toddler rail set and I love the way it looks for a toddler's bed.

On to other baby updates, this weekend we went and looked at "mom SUVs" for me. Right not I have a small 4 door Mercedes. I love it and it has been great, but I need for room for a little one. I am all over the board with the new/used car. I cannot decided on anything, everytime I see another car I like it more. I think we have the choices narrored down to about 3; Lincoln MKX, Acadia Danali, Cadillac SRX, and I might add another one tomorrow. You just never know me with anymore. Does anyone have one of these cars? If so, could you tell me the good/bad/ugly, please?
I think that is about it for all things baby. I am feeling great and loving this time. I am glad to be into the second trimester, full of extra energy and no more morning sickness. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!

ReplyDeleteAs for cars- I had a Denali and liked it but last year I got a new Edge (which is the same thing as the MKX) and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I am so happy with it! Good luck car shopping- fun times!!
