How 2 became 3!

Details... Here's the story of how 2 became 3!

When we got married in October we knew we wanted to start trying to have kids pretty soon.  We waited a while before we got married so we were ready.  In December when my sweet Pa died, we got to spend a ton of wonderful time with my family.  It was bitter sweet, but it made Marc and I start thinking about children and the legacy we want to leave to our family.  We decided that we would start trying in January.  When January got here we both had a little bit of "cold feet".  We were ready, BUT we wanted to take one last trip.  Traveling for us is like... well, it is why I work.  It is the reason I get up and work hard every day.  I don't need a fancy house or shiny car, but I do NEED to travel.  I love getting to experience how different God made this world. The food, the culture, the smells, the gardens, the waters, the sights, the people, the churches, the roads, the animals, the fabrics, the artwork... It is so fascinating!!  OK- enough already, I think you get my love for traveling.

Hawaii has been on our list of places to visit for quite some time now.  Fortunately, since Marc grew up there it's not a place he wanted to take a little weekend getaway.  We knew we needed to save up our vacation time at work to execute this trip properly.  To most people Hawaii is a place to visit.  Beautiful in deed, but just another vacation spot.  To Marc and his family, Hawaii holds a very special place in his heart.  He has so many memories and love for this place, it makes me wonder why we lives in Texas.  I knew that we had to go to Hawaii before we started our family.  Our "babymoon" as we called it!  The last major trip before our sweet angel arrives. We do plan to travel with kids, but I know that it will be pricey and hard work.  We got back from Hawaii in the beginning of May and we were all refreshed and ready to begin the next journey in our lives.  Thankfully, I got pregnant in June so we didn't have to wait long.

Blessed beyond belief!!!!!
