Confessions...

I have been looking forward to a girls night out to see the new Sex and The City movie.  First off, I titled this blog post "Confession" becaseu I know that SATC isn't a "nice/Christian" movie.  In my defense, I got hooked on these shows when I was in college and they would come on TBS.  They cut out all the bad parts, so I didn't know how horrible it really was.  Now I am pretty much a junkie!  (Gammy, please don't hate me)

Anyway, I was excited about seeing the movie with all my girlfriends.  We were all going to go together.  When I got back from Memorial day at Lincoln's house, I found out that the girls went without me.  I was so bummed b/c I knew I didn't have anyone else to go see it with.  (If you don't know this yet, I don't have many friends here in Austin.)  I finally decided that I would go see the movie alone.  I am a grown adult and I knew this day would come eventually.  After I told Marc he so kindly volunteered to go with me.  Last night we went to the Gold Class Cinemas.  I am not sure if you have ever heard of it, but it is AMAZING!  They have recliner chairs, with pillows, blankets and your personal server.  It like flying first class.  I might mention that the tickest are $30 per person (which doesn't include dinner or drinks), but Marc insisted that if he was going to see SATC that it would be done in style.  He wanted to make it special for me.

After a perfect evening of Flirtini's, dinner, and a great movie Marc informed me he would like to take me to buy something that Carrie Bradshaw would wear.  He wanted me to get something that I would never buy for myself.  Here was what I picked out.  I know it is not exactly "Carrie Bradshaw" but I would never have bought it for myself and I thought it was super cute!  It was a great memorable night.  If I couldn't go with my girlsfriends, he truly was the next best thing.  I was sure glad that he came with me.  I am one lucky lady.
