I could have danced all night

I could have danced all night, I could have danced all night, and still have begged for more!

Marc gave me dance lessons for our wedding… The sweetest Valentine’s present ever! Thanks to John (and Lincoln) for taking to him about it and encouraging us to take lessons. Marc did all the research and found out a great place in Austin that will help us out. We do not want to be pro dancers, we just don’t want to make a fool of ourselves.

Tonight we had our first private lesson. When we first got there Marc started complaining about how stupid it was. I could tell it was only because he was nervous and out of his element. We got to bring in our music and actually learn a few steps. Nothing crazy… just the basics! It was the first time Marc and I have ever danced like that. We learned the Rumba! It was awesome!! I cannot wait to practice with him more. In the coming months our teacher will help us chorography the dance so we both should have more confidence while dancing. We still have a long time until the wedding, but we want to spread out the lessons so we can really learn a lot.

Let’s wait and see how bad we still are closer to the wedding, but for now we both really enjoyed it!
