I am 25 years old and all I want is my mommy. I am sick AGAIN. I have been sick 3 times in 4 months since I moved to Austin. No doctor can tell me what is infecting my body. I get a very sore throat, which quickly leads to sneezing & coughing, followed by congestion, and flu like aching. The doctors have told me I have anything from allergies to walking pneumonia. I wish my mom was closer so she could take care of me (not that Marc isn't going a good job), but my mom can never be replaced. The "make you feel better meal" was always a half sandwich and chicken noodle soup with a Dr. Pepper. She would bring it to me in bed or on the couch and sit with me while I ate it. I truly have the best mom.
I wish I could click my heals and bring my mom here with me. There's no place like home, there's no place like home...
My cup is still half full, how about yours?
